Bio: Sarah completed her MSc in Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University under the supervision of Dr. Monica Maly, Dr. Alexandra Papaioannou and Dr. Dawn Bowdish. Her master’s research was focused on understanding the impact of frailty on older adults. Sarah’s other research interests include understanding the role of adipose tissue and frailty and the relationship between inflammatory markers, infection and frailty. Sarah’s goal is to educate healthcare professionals on the importance of frailty, improve the understanding of mechanisms that can prevent frailty and ultimately improve the quality-of-life of older adults.
