Bio: Dr. Mimi Wang completed her BSc in Immunology at McGill University in 2006, followed by medical school and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto. She completed her Geriatric Medicine fellowship training at McMaster University in 2015, and subsequently joined the Division of Geriatric Medicine at McMaster where she is now an Assistant Professor. She additionally completed a Master’s in Medical Education from the University of Dundee, and her recent research has focused on end-of-life communication and geriatric critical care. Dr. Wang leads initiatives for equity, diversity and inclusion with a specific focus on older adults and medical trainees.
