Overview:  Research led by Dr. Joanne Ho recently published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society examined how older adults are predisposed to adverse drug events (ADEs) due to age-related changes in pharmacology, multimorbidity, and polypharmacy. Accurate medication histories are necessary to prevent, diagnose and manage ADEs, while optimizing chronic disease management.
